Saturday-Sunday, February 12-13 - Snowshoe Backpack (grade 2, class B). Backpack with snowshoes in the Lassen Park area. Bring warm, winter wear and the usual backpack materials. Saturday, February 19 - Cross-Country Ski. Intermediate ski trip on the McGowan Trail near Lassen National Park. A car shuttle will take us to the top of the trail for a scenic, mostly downhill 10-mile trip. Ski rental near trailhead in Mineral. Bring lunch, water, appropriate clothing and equipment. Meet at Paradise Albertson's at 7:15 A.M. or Chico Park & Ride at 8 A.M. Driving distance of about 150 miles round trip. Return time about 7 P.M. Leader: Joe Dudek, 877-5647.
