The best in town. Not much in the way of performance tracked skiing equipment, but plenty for the backcountry or ski tourer to select from, plus lots of packs, clothes, tents, etc.  Plus, the people who work there are just plain nice.

This is a downhill only shop, but they do have Swix glide wax when you can't find it anywhere else in town. But better to plan ahead and order yourself a couple of bars of wax from Tognar Toolworks.

This is the best shop in town for skating, performance skis and equipment. They have a great selection of skis, poles, boots, clothes, waxes and base tools that you won't normally find.

A traditional backpacking/mountaineering store, this shop is strong in backcountry and telemark gear. My kind of toy store...

Located strategically between the off-ramp and the turn-off to Royal Gorge, this small shop is chock full of track-weenie toys! A great selection of skating and in-track classic skis, these guys are up on the latest and use the stuff they sell. They are also known for the famous Memorial Day and Labor Day ski sales.
