The North Lake Tahoe Resort Association offers multi-day Cross Country Trail Passes and Downhill Lift Tickets. The passes are good all season long without restrictions. They are non-transferable and can be purchased by phone or at the North Tahoe Chamber of Commerce (245 North Lake Blvd., Tahoe City, CA  96145, 530-581-6900).
With the average trail pass running about $16/day, these passes are a good deal.

The prices for 1999/2000 Cross Country Trail Passes are:

• 2 days -- $28 ($14/day)
• 3 days -- $39 ($13/day)
• 4 days -- $48 ($12/day)
• 5 days -- $58 ($11.60/day)
• 6 days -- $66 ($11/day)

The trail passes are good at the following cross country resorts:

• Tahoe Cross Country (formerly Lakeview
• Spooner Lake
• Diamond Peak
• Northstar-at-Tahoe
• Tahoe Donner
• Royal Gorge (must pay an additional $4/day with pass)
• Resort at Squaw Creek
