One of the easiest ways I find to get ski reports is to customize Yahoo! to be my home page. If you go to the Yahoo! home page you will see you can set up a customized page that will only show what news items you are interested in seeing. It will take about 15 minutes to figure out and get set up, but worth it.

There is a section for ski reports and you can pick the ski areas you are interested in. Then, when you open your home page, it shows all the current snow depths for those areas and if they reported any new snow overnight. You can also click on each ski area for a more in-depth report.

In addition to ski areas, you can also set up your page to list stock prices, travel prices, sports news, business news, breaking news stories, etc. Other search engines are now also offering this feature. While I don't like Yahoo! for doing searches (it is one of the most incomplete search engines out there, even though it is probably one of the most famous), I find it has the best customizable, personalized home pages.
